Home is in the hills above the Columbia River Gorge in Southern Washington State. My garden is at 2500 feet altitude, and I love to putter in it. We live on an old homestead property so have lovely old buildings and leftover farm equipment to play with.

Bichon rescue is another passion of mine, and I'm \"MOM\" to one little flufferbutt and permanent foster mom to another, who is a senior rescue with Smallpaws Rescue of Tulsa. I'm a local volunteer for SPR, and enjoy the friendships I've made in the group.

Fishing is my therapy - and excuse to take my dog, get in a float tube and go enjoy the quiet and beauty of nature. (yes, Gigi rides with me, she has her own lifejacket and loves it). Our favorite spots are the high mountain lakes on Mount Adams nearby, and we usually catch and release. I also enjoy teaching kids to fish - have gone through 2 protegees who have gone on to marry and move away - now working on grandchildren.
