We love rural Phoenix! We moved to Desert Hills last year. Half of our lot was left untouched with the native cactus, palo verdes and mesquite, etc. Our house sits on the other half surrounded by quarter minus and dry grass!

I've been dreaming of a desert garden with a few fruit trees and veggie plots. Cost is a big factor so I can only build it slowly.
