Hi, I have only been gardening for about a year. I started out trying to grow strawberries in containers, but they all died not long after replanting. This year, I added some dwarf fruit trees, peppers along with the strawberries. I've read strawberries aren't recommended for zone 9, but that has just made me more determined. My survival rate has increased dramatically since spending a lot of time on this website. Now, I am working on putting together Tapla's gritty mix - trusting the process, which is hard because I am horribly impatient and tend to exhibit inherently tweaker-ish behavior, lol.
