I love gardening as it gives me the opportunity to do something creative while connecting with the earth. I garden for the joy of creating something beautiful.
Roses are my favourite plants and I love them all. They are interplanted with other perennials so I have a full cottage garden effect.
I am a journalist by trade and am fortunate to be able to write about my garden hobby. I also am a volunteer selector for Australia's Open Garden Scheme and love nothing better than looking at other people's gardens.
My own garden is open for one weekend in November 2004.
