I've been gardening for about 15 years, and my newest project is re-creating our small back yard (set off by a bamboo barrier on one side and a historic stone wall along the back)into a Japanese-influenced garden retreat. I look forward to retirement in a few years, and I want to build a private garden that catches the winter sun against that lovely stone wall.
