I have 2 acres and about a gazillion sand-burs and goatheads! Always thrilled to hear from anyone who has conquered these nastiest of all plants. My current plan of action is to take it one small area at a time (have spent too much time trying to treat open field area w/ not much improvement)SO now my husband (yeah!) has put in some raised beds- will fill w/ cutting flowers and veggies- I am again looking forward to spring! I LOVE Big plants- will try most anything that gets tall, but am not much for putting things in that have to be dug up and wintered inside- good intentions but it never happens...I am not always good about keeping track of exact varieties of whats in the ground especially plants i have traded locally(my favorite means of aquisition). I am spending way too much time at this web site but for the winter it's my faux gardening! Happy Gardening!
