I bought my house 8 years ago, and about 3 years ago I had a retaining wall put up as my house is on a hill. It gets full sun and I have sandy soil.

Now I am having problems trying to figure out what plants would look nice by the retaining wall. I have grass growing there and it slopes down and is very difficult to mow.

I want to get rid of the grass and put a pretty flowering groundcover by the slope by the retaining wall.

I am not very creative when it comes to plants. I have bought Vinca Minor and it died on me.

Help!
