I live in Cornwall, UK. Which is mild but almost continually wet. I have a fairly large garden which is high on a hill and therefore windy, but the soil is very good. My plant passions are Camellias (I have about 30 Varieties and the collection is growing) and all members of the Iris family, except for the dreaded crocosmia, which I fight a continual battle with. I remove anout 6 barrowloads a year, and it still keeps coming............
