I am married to an electrical engineer and we have two daughters - one in college and the other in high school. Although we live in Alabama during the week in the school year, we have a farm in Tennessee where I do all my gardening. We stay out there during the summer and as many weekends as possible during the rest of the year. I love herbs, vegetables, fruits, heirlooms, passalong plants, wildfoods, and perennial flowers. Also do a lot of canning and preserving during the season.
