Finally married my high school sweetheart. (We wont talk about that other marriage)... Weve been bestest buddies (cept when we werent speaking...) for 30 years... We both turned 46 this year... Im a work-at-home Mom and we have 3 boys - Stephen 20 Autistic, Brian 17 Precocious, Jamie 9 Rambunctious and three cats - Twinkie, Snoopy and Newbie...

Noobie and Snoopy...

We live on the outskirts of Boise. Moved here from San Francisco 11 years ago. California born and raised for 35 years... We are both shy and stay within our family circle. My mother is 80 with Alzheimers and is living with us. As a typical Gemini, I throw myself into some new obsession, learn as much as I can, and move onto something new when I get bored... Past obsessions include: Piano, music theory and composition, ballet, gymnastics, voice, ceramics, painting, crochet, sewing, reading, writing, poetry, jogging, bowling, web site design, obstetrics, gardening, psychology, interior decorating, switchplates, accounting, internet mail-order, rose photography, rose propagation, property management, masonry tiling and the never ending obsession: shopping :)

I demand a no-spray garden which is easier, thanks in part to the weather in Idaho. Most of the time, humidity is low and thus leaf diseases are rare here during most of the year. Any roses that show blatant signs (over 20% for longer than 2 weeks) of mildew or blackspot are removed, or relocated. That being said, the cultivars I list as owning are disease free here in my yard... (although roses are constantly being replaced) Im a consulting rosarian in the great state of Idaho. Im the webmaster and Vice President for the Idaho Rose Society.

We built a house 10 years ago and weve been landscaping from scratch. Its been tons of fun! (yah, that was sarcasm...) I got my first compliment last year on the garden... "This is paradise..." and "its so peaceful..." That made me smile... :) - See my trade page for a list of current rose cultivars I grow... Please contact me at email@decobug.com
