I really don't know much about gardening. I just love flowers. I don't know much about them, and that is why I'm here.....to find out a bunch. My mom left me her home, and in the backyard, there are these two beautiful plants, about 3 1/2 feet tall. The buds on these plants are the size of walnuts. This year is the first year they have opened up. I was so happy, and my Mother-in-Law told me there are "Camelias". They are sooo beautiful. They start out a rich pink, and then as time goes by, and they have been opened for a few days, they start turning purple. I love these plants, and it just makes me feel so close to my mom....whom I miss sooo much.
