Having gardened all my life at 5000ft in the mountains of Northern Nevada (a dubious zone 5 at best), I now find myself just south of the fingerlake region of NY state. I am now handicapped and unable to dig or do any lifting, but that hasn't stopped me from gardening, just bring me a pot and some seeds... and I thank my lucky stars for african violets. P.S. organic organic organic!
