I am a fairly new garderner of 3 years in the area of herbs, annuals, perennials, and rosses. I won some awards from the American Rose Society in Kindergarden, first grade, but these were in the wake of my dad,Dr. Wayne Allan Shrader, he passed away in 1997. He and my Mom were both judges and he grew 100's of roses. I am trying my had at green thumbing and expanding on other areas beyond my childhood memories. I am creating a memorial garden. My father's grave is in TN and I am in AR. I am also creating butterfly - hummingbird garden, herb garden, water garden, vegetable garden, bog garden, are all on the agenda or in the works. And anything else that presents a challenge - that my husband give the okay on... He does the heavy equipment part of this venture. I am the creative tedious, sometimes general pain.
