I now live in Kentucky zone 6. I have been garding for 30 yrs. as an adult. I grew up on a small farm. My father farmed only with a roto-tiller and 7 kids (he was an orgainic farmer & retired military as well as a Jack of many trades.) He had the best garden in town. My goal is to take my 10 ac. farm/ Transit stables to a new level. Educational Gardens to teach about gardening methods, save the past, introduce new foods and flowers to our area. I have mini gardens 14x35. I attend the farmers market, feed a large family and donate veggies to the domestic violence program. I am getting ready to attend a Master Gardeners Program. I plan on joining local garden clubs and orgs. this coming year. I want to learn as much as I can and enjoy the friendships and being around people who share my passion.
