Hi all,

I'm a fairly new homeowner. You know the kind... we start a zillion projects, only to finish one! My intentions are good though. My latest project is the doing something with the front of this house. (I did paint the front door... It was white. I wanted to go cranberry, but right now, I'm trying baby steps)

I guess what's throwing me off is the location of the front door. That, and the walkway leading up to the door. As you can see, we took out the landscaping that was here. It was taller than the house!

Anyway, I'm open to any and all suggestions. From painting the portico to changing the layout of the walkway. That, and of course the landscaping design.

The only thing I'm against is flowering bushes. I don't know why, but they don't like me!
