I've always been a lawn care fanatic. With two kids, I went through a 20 year period of soccer, little league, dance recitals, etc, and didn't have the time I needed to have a showcase lawn. Now that the kids are older, my lawn has become my hobby.

I have Tif419 in my 4000 sq ft back yard and Princess 77 in my 7500 sq ft front yard. I use a Tru Cut 27 inch reel mower and keep the lawn at less than 1/2 inch.

I use organic fertilizers but I'm not an organic purist. I occasionally spot spray weeds and I use synthetic preemergents.
