I like to grow a lot of different things, but my biggest interests these days are fruit trees and other edible crops. I'm currently chairman of the San Diego Chapter of the California Rare Fruit Growers (CRFG). (The main CRFG website is at http://www.crfg.org .)I've got 7 types of fig, two types of mango, four types of citrus, 7 types of pomegranate, two types of longan, four types of Cherimoya, a pepino dulce, a bunch of Italian violet artichokes, a loquat, a feijoa, a cofee plant and some other things in the ground. And I have some more things in pots. This all probably sounds more impressive than it is. A lot of my plants are still very small.

Some of my other favorites are Bamboo, different types of tomatoes, sweet pea flowers, poppies, pansies/violas, and nasturtium. I also like to just try different new things.
