I'm trying to develop a visually pleasing (but also well scented) garden for a 100 ft x 200 ft lot which was left pretty much a blank slate by the previous owners. It isn't actually hilly, but it rolls. Some of the soil is good, some is lousy (where the subsoil taken when digging the basement was spread).
