Saw a mature tall (Phyllostachys Nigra Henon) bamboo grove recently and it made me go crazy,... I want several just like it here on the thirty acres that my brother and I share,.. Where I live the winter cold gets into the mid-teens at times so I may have to concentrate on the temperate varieties but I hope to try many different kinds till I find those best suited... I just wish I was younger so that I would have time to see a mature grove on this place...
