I am married and we have one child, a girl. I have been "into" Orchids since about August of 2000. I grow mostly warm to intermediate orchids. Mostly Phalaenopsis, Vandas and Ascocendas. I have a few Cattleyas and hybrids and a few Dendrobiums and one or two Epidendrum / Encyclia. I am collecting more species as I go along. To finance my obsession I make Paper for a living. I do have a greenhouse that I built in the spring of 2002. I have two electric heaters that I run to keep the cold at bay on winter nights. There are a couple of fans that run all the time during the spring, summer and fall.
