I love palm trees and tropical plants. I am still learning a good bit about both palms and tropical plants and its an exciting process. I have the following palms in my yard and also growing in pots: Washingtonia Filifera, W. Robusta, Phoenix Canariensis, P. Dactilifera, P. Medjool, P. Robellini, Livistona Chinensis, Syragus Ramanzofia, Sabal Palmetto, S. Mexicana, S. Minor, S. Texinsis, Butia Capitata, Trachycarpus Fortunei, T. "Waggie", Foxtail Palms (seedlings in pots), Christmas Palm, Dypsis Decaryi, Cardboard palm, and one Sago Palm.

I am also growing three Tropical Hibiscus. One is yellow and the other two are orange. I also have three 8 foot Musa Basjoo stalks finally making new leaves. I built a greenhouse last fall and managed to keep many of my non-cold hardy palms and plants alive. I still need to figure out a good ventilation system for it.

I love this website and I have read postings for a while but I would really like to post comments and pictures and share what info (be it a little or a lot on a given subject) and to continue to learn more about palms and cyads.

Thanks so much!
