Well their is really nothing to tell! I live in Billings, Montana, about a mile out of the city. I have the neighbors from hell! Since we sit on an under water spring( the area has tons of springs and bogs) the water is high in alkalai, wich if gets on any leaves, except grass, will kill, in a matter of days, if left to more it will kill the plant! Well my neighbors find it that they must water from 5 pm, to about 3 in the morning, also about 3 ft in my yard!!
But enough about them, everything in my yard has to be duck proofed! I keep ten ducks, and two peacocks. If something can cut it, it doesn't make it! Don't even question bulbs, since they come early in the spring, when the ducks are savage on anything new! I lost 8 tulip bulbs to them, and one dafodil!! Best duck proof plants- petunia, snapdragons, iris, carnation, certain alfalfa, primrose, rose, flax, and columbine. AVOID MOSS ROSSES(PORTULACA) THEY EAT THEM LIKE POTATOE CHIPS!
