Live in Lake Worth, Florida. Hobby is growing tropical fruit and am an admitted mangophile. We also have a weekend place in Venus (southwest Florida). Venus gets both very hot and very cold, so I've lost many plants that supposedly do well in zone 9. We have several dairy goats and a couple sheep, which has been very enjoyable and given us some delicious raw milk. My plantings in Lake Worth include nearly a dozen mango trees, a litchi, atemoya, jaboticaba, mulberries, star fruit, bananas, and muscadine. I have less success with some of these than with others.
