I live in Northern California, Sonoma county. The home of Luther Burbank. He was right, this is a magical place to garden.
I have been in the nursey trade, running my own business for 40 years. I have now retired because of a back injury, and closed the nursery and I am growing what interest me.
It is certainly nice to be able to do what i want instead of what the business dictates.
I am interested in hybridizing, and rare and unusual plants and bulbs. Mar 2006 update: I lost most of my plants due to a death in the family and a forced sale of the property. I am now rebuilding my colldction and will have things to trade soon.
