Hi, I'm an urban [planner/forester/ecologist] specializing in green infrastructure. I have degrees in Environmental Hort and Urban Forestry, and Environmental Planning specializing in Urban Ecology. I speak/write several times a year on green infrastructure topics as well as volunteering as a naturalist around town.

I try not to let the above get in the way when testing new plants and ideas for technology transfer in the garden. We live on the Colo Front Range at ~5700 feet in a challenging High Plains environment. In previous decades I gardened in Western WA state and Northern California, where I had a small landscape design and construction business too.
