I am a wife of 13 years, second marriage, with 3 grandchildren, ages 12, 8, and 6. My interests are grandening/landscaping, architecture, reading, sewing, traveling and antiques. We live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina 3,200 ft altitude on 19 acres of woods, which gives us a great challenge when it comes to landscaping, as we have a small herd of deer that also make our acreage their home...hahaha. In the front of our home, off the deck area, is a slope that we are attempting to landscape now and we wish to make it as simple and care free as possible as we are seeing a decrease in our abilities to navigate that steep slope. The area we are working on now is a 100x40 foot area with a change in elevation of approximately 18 feet in the 40 foot run, so you can see our delima.
