Gardening in 1/2 acre in suburbs...typical 2 kids, dog, cat etc...Built this house 6 yrs ago, and gardens are just now starting to 'mature' a little, and fill in. I have a rose bed, several forsythia, several varietes of lilac and viburnum, and lots and lots of herbs, all different types. I like to try to think outside the pot (so to speak!) when it comes to borders and beds...the suburbs are very cookie-cutter, yard-wise.
