Have a 500+ ac ranch in Central Texas and a huge yard,but must have all my plants inside because of the peafowl and guineas we have roaming free to control the rattlers and scorpions (it works). They also have a go at keeping the annual swarms of grasshoppers in check but thus far they have been defeated. In the end, the birds eat as much greenery as the grasshoppers.
