My husband is really the green thumb, I had some gourd seeds in a pot for approx. 2 months without them as much as breaking the ground. I assumed that they were duds, so I gave the pot of dirt with the seeds included to my husband who was planting a baby sago palm and he wanted some of my potting soil whixh I was out of except for this desert of a pot, after about a week he started noticing some plants come up around his palm, he asked me what WAS in the pot before and I told him gourd duds that I had gotten out of a threee year old gourd, before painting it. Well, you guessed it, I now have a fence full of gourds and watching my painting canvases grow daily.
