Now that I have retired I have time to spend in my garden and I am so busy I wouldn't have time to go to work, We have 18 acres of lovely fertile ground and we have recently planted 520 French lavender bushes. We intend to pick the flowers for the fresh flower market and if these bushes are succesful we will propagate and continue to plant. We live 5km from the township and we are high on a hill of granite with views that go forever. I can now indulge in growing roses and as long as the bank balance holds out, I will keep on planting new beds. It just means we have to keep moving the fence.I am married and have two children. Our son is 31 and in the Armed Forces and our daughter is 29 and married and has a degree in Agronomy. As they live in different parts of Australia we get to travel and visit with them as oftens as we can.
