As the name suggests, I am a 40 year old counselor. I have two kids and lots and lots of plants. My best gardening experience occurred about 15 years ago when my husband and I enjoyed what appeared at the time to be Jack's magical beanstalk growing out of the back yard of our first house. It ended up being a loofah vine that emerged from a discarded bath loofah that had become a dog toy. Anyway, we had the most incredible, sprawling, out-of-control loofah vine ever known to modern man. I seriously miss that loofah. Since then, I have developed a vine fetish and will try to grow any type of vine. Last year I grew cantaloupes from the seeds of one we purchased at the grocery store.
