I'm fairly new to gardening, but find (after years of thinking that I have a black thumb) that I can actually grow things and have them thrive is amazing. I approach my gardens as if I was painting, but use the flowers as my palet.

I have 3 children (not including the dog, & husband). I enjoy reading, painting, crocheting... ok I like crafts of just about any kind. I volunteer with a number of groups, but no matter what I'm doing, come spring... I'm digging in the dirt.
