I like smaller garden beds that I fill with annuals full of seeds for the birds. Other than a few trees there was nothing here when I moved in and I working to eatablish a habitat for the birds. I've seen some amazing things in the last few years. One spring I had a young hawk using my bird bath; much to the dismay of the other birds.
