I'm a forty-something, home-decorating-challenged individual with a great husband, step-son, daughter, and two dogs christened Chocolate and Snickers (this is what happens when you let an 11-year old name your pets). I'm happiest curled up reading a good book or playing the piano, but I'm most often found worrying about what colors to paint the walls, how to arrange the furniture, or what I should do for window treatments.

My husband insists I have no life if I can spend so much time worrying about these things, especially the paint thing! I insist, however, that if he wants me to continue taking care of the yard work, which entails a minimum of 3 hours of bone-jarring Grasshopper riding at full speed and another hour of weed whacking riding the four wheeler from tree to tree, that I should be allowed to obsess over anything I want.
