Ive been gardening now for about 15 years. Became a master gardener in 2005.

I was lucky enough to find GardenWeb just as I planted my first real vegetable garden. Cant thank the other visitors here enough for sharing the benefit of their tremendous experience. I learned so much here about veggies, tomatoes, compost. I also like to touch on herbs, perennials, and whatever strikes my fancy that day. This year the focus is more on ornamentals. I try to keep my yard all-organic, and have gotten great info from OG and IPM.

What I really love most about GW is "talking" to other gardeners, the encouragement, the shared enthusiasm (sometimes hard to find among friends and family), and especially the humor.
