I am a weekend gardener with a passion for making things grow. This makes life difficult in the tiny postage stamp gardens I have in downtown Toronto as I have a lot to learn about pruning and when to give up and tear something out. I am an avid water gardener with a backyard pond and 10 big goldfish to keep an eye on. Life is further complicated by the soil altering properties of the efforts of my two terriers. Still, what could be better than watching plants flourish under your care or fish coming to greet you every morning when you appear with their food?
