I live in the Olympic Peninsula area of Washington State.Lots of rain. Attempting to grow Alpines from around the world, starting with seed and species Lilys are my principle interests, but will try to germinate other things as well. Im very much the amateur but have had a measure of good luck and am learning as I keep trying. Its a very healthy hobby as it keeps you occupied the year round. Cruising thru parks and arboretums is a great way to collect tree seed from around the world and I have a few trees growing as proof. Probably won't live long enough to see them as mature trees but somebody will.
