Hi, I'm Jean. I'm relatively new to growing. Up until a few years ago, I always lived in 3rd floor apartments with sun-baked balconies. Tried growing tomatoes a couple of times, without really doing any research. Then I got serious a few years ago and my balcony exploded like a rain forest! Now I'm finally in a town home with a tiny strip of land out back, and am growing like crazy. I've moved beyond (just) tomatoes and am really researching and getting into crop rotation, trellising, square foot gardening, seed saving, etc. This year I'll be growing beans, peas, tomatoes, kale, lettuce, spinach, artichoke, strawberries, delicata squash, spaghetti squash, acorn squash, cucumbers, many herbs and nasturtiums. :)
