Four years ago we built a house on 20 hilly acres with a very small river running through. Two years ago we built a chicken house and now have 20 chickens--a mix of heritage breeds, hybrid layers and bantams. We want--some day--to have a barn and more animals. Until two years ago I had never been within 10 feet of a chicken--no experiecne with "farm life" whatsoever. So I very much appreciate the support and advice I get from this forum!
