My mother was a gardener, first of flowers and then, of necessity, vegetables/fruits...and then took that to the next level: cooking flowers. Yes, I'm nutz. And I'm nutz about both flowers and vegetables so I guess that makes me a fruit. Anyhoo, I'm here on a quest for an antique tea rose that Mom and I enjoyed cooking with. I've been on this quest before only to discover that when I was ready to purchase my own rose of this variety, the vendor had vanished from the Internet altogether...couldn't find one since.

My floral holy grail is the Papa Meidiland rose, not the climbing variety that was mentioned once at this site, a mention that brought me here via search engine. Perhaps via the Exchange here, I might get a slip from someone who has one. There is great sentimental value attatched, as the single rosebush of my mother's has met its demise via a careless lawnmowing boy. PLS HELP!
