I've never gardened before, but suddenly (at the age of 72!) I've developed a passion for it. I've got the nice weather for it (in Oceanside, CA) but not much space -- just my little balcony. I'm starting with bilberry bushes, a Negronne fig and a Carrie mango. It's very exciting.

My Birthday is October 16 .
