I've just purchased a little ranch in outside Syracuse NY. The yard is overrun and neglected. This is my first attempt at lawn care and gardening. My indoor plants have never survived. I have a clay based soil which is very moist (backyard still 2" water in some areas in late April). I'm clearing out some overgrowth of vines, both ground cover & some other kind I haven't identified yet. Any help and opinions are more than welcomed.
