My husband and I purchased our first home in December of 2004 and it is the first time that I have been able to branch out from houseplants and put some things in the ground. I learned how to start a veggie garden from a friend but working with our clay soil is always a challenge. My first garden in 2005 went really well and now gardening is my favorite hobby and I just can't get enough of it. I found this website in January of 2006 and it has increased my ability to grow different things because of everyone's generosity. I am going to try some flowers this year and many more veggies- it seems that you could never run out of things to grow!
