I love to garden. I have four grandchildren that love to help! I’m trying to teach them to be organic gardeners.
"Late Blight" is pretty prevalent this spring. Spray your veggies with liquid Copper Fungicide...1 Tablespoon per gallon of water. Copper is an organic fungicide. I sprayed my tomatoes and other veggies last year with Copper and had a good crop of veggies.
I’m an organic gardener. I spray different concoctions for insects. One of my favorites for vegetables is: 5 cloves of garlic finely shredded, 1 small onion finely shredded, 1 Tablespoon of cayenne pepper, 1Tablespoon of liquid dish soap (or Fels Nappa soap grated) and 1 quart of warm water. Mix together and let sit at least overnight before using. I usually mix this mixture in a glass bowl, strain the onions and garlic out, then put it in a small spray bottle. If the veggies need a fungicide, I add 3/4 teaspoon Copper Fungicide to this mixture, once it is in the spray bottle. Make sure you add it to the spray bottle and not to the mixture while it is in the glass bowl.
