Hi! My name is Chris.I've been married to my husband Brian for 18 years. We were high school sweethearts and have been together since I was 15 and he was 16. We have two beautiful daughters, Crystal who is 14 and Carley who is 12. We also have three "fur kids" in our family. Boosie is our American Indian Dog pup he's 5 months old and the little boy we never had(lol), Tiggy is our oldest cat and is the queen of everything, and Choochie is our youngest cat and is mommy's little baby! Over the years we have lived quite a few different places, but I think this band of nomads has finally settled down. We are now living in our newly built home at Lake Anna in Louisa County, Virginia. Our new home is situated on a beautiful, heavily wooded lot that we intend to keep as natural as possible. We are having a wonderful time learning about all of the critters, plants and trees that inhabit it. I spend a great deal of time gardening and making things for my home and yard.I am currently studying about naturalist gardening so that I can try to make up for the damage to the land that building our home has caused. I've also become interested in homesteading and have been learning about wood stoves, canning and baking.
