My name is Chris, and I'm 27 years old, a Biologist and teacher, and love to garden in my spare time. For years, I had to make due with a very shady yard, which was lovely, but very limiting. Thankfully I love shade tolerant plants like hostas, ferns, astilbe and dicentra. However, after recently moving, I am happy to report that I now have a beautiful, sunbathed yard to work with, and can finally grow plants successfully that I never could before like heirloom tomatoes, gladiolus and roses. I can't wait for the spring!!!
