I have a small L-shaped southfacing balcony in So Calif and hope to set up shade curtains for the coming summer. plants now are hisbicus..not so great but flowering well..boston type ferns...hope they will survive summer with shade and my beloved new little gardenias. I want to smell my flowers now on this earth. My 92 yr old father will try his hand at growing little plants from seed.
