I was raised at the top of a shale outcrop where the native plants are may-apples, moss, and maple trees that seem to preclude anything else growing (even those little celendine buttercups, the invasive ones? cant seem to get established) so gardening in generals something Ive always done at other peoples houses...but now I have one of my own, and am really glad this forums here.
