According to the most recent zone map Ive seen Im in zone 6b. Wow, now I just need to figure out exactly what that means....
I have two sons (an older one and a much younger one). My oldest son and I share a common view on plants, its gotta taste good. My youngest son's second word was berry!
I hate nursery catalogs that lie about zones or ones that describe a fruit as tasty. What does that tell you? Please, garden writers if youre reading this try and be more descriptive with regard to how something tastes.
And please stop using gardening code words; where is the list that is supposed to tell us that when you say vigorous grower you really mean "just try getting rid of this once its established". I swear half the plants Ive read described as hardy should be labeled "hard(y) to find it without a sign to point out where it once was". Lastly, no plant recommended for zones 9 - 11 should ever be labeled perennial if sold in zone 6 (or 5 or...)
