Hello!

My name is Joe and I live right in the middle of the wonderful city of Chicago in a neighborhood called Roscoe Village. I attended Ohio State University and graduated with a Psychology degree and then went on to Northwestern University where I earned a Masters of Business degree. My love for gardening began as a child and was taught to me by my grandmother and father. Once I went to high school, the gardening hobby to a back seat to what else but girls and sports. While at Ohio State, my sophmore year, a friend and I rented an apartment off campus with a small backyard and that reengaged my love of gardening.

I now own a 2 unit apartment building in which my wife and I live on the bottom floor and rent out the top. I have a 30 x 30 garden in which I grow many perennials, vegegtables, and herbs. I love to try new vegetables every season. I am in the process of buying my next door neighbors home at which point I plan to adjoin both back yards and expand my gardening space even further! I even have plans to tear down one of the garages for even greater space!

Well, that about sums me up. Other than gardening, I love to cook, play and watch all kinds of sports, movies, reading, and music.
